Friday Night in the Georgian Suite

The Georgian Suite on the 10th floor was chosen for it's ambience, view of east Memphis and it had a bar, most important. The room will handle about 30-40 people comfortably so the committee decided to jam 70 Tigers into the room, not give out name tags and tell them to play the "Who the Hell are you game?" It worked beautifully causing much conversation and it seems that everyone talked to everyone. There was plenty of horsd' oeuvres, music and the bar was handled by the "Three Amigos". We even promoted the president to Bartender. Below are shots of the suite before 70 tigers rolled thru it and below that the aftermath, the next morning.

With Tigers wall to wall the drawing was held for the use of the room Saturday night. The drawing was won by Dana Dorrity who has Melaine Perry and Mary Anne Flannigan staying with her so all three shared the room.

About 7:00 PM a group lead by Jeannie Day Warren went to the bop club and some returned after 10PM when it closed. The late group until 1:30AM Saturday morning was: Earl Walton, James Smith, Bonnie Jordan, Danny Ladner, Ceryl Gaia and Bill Hillhouse.

Housekeeping came Saturday about noon to prep the room for the Slumber party Saturday night.

A special thanks to James Smith for all his hard work to mail out flyers twice, handle the expense and then donate the cost of postage to the class. I failed to mention this when I addressed the class and I regret that. Thank you James, Bill Hillhouse
