George “Geech” Morris’ family owned the Mobil Station at the corner of Shelby Drive and Airways in Whitehaven. Both Geech and his older brother, Bill, worked there with their Dad. It was a great hangout for guys but if you were a girl you didn’t want to use the “ladies room” there. Geech was fun, slow to anger, a gentle giant, great at a party, and a true blue friend. He and Bill were at our wedding in 1965. Art & Susan Palmer Bayless
