JAMES
C. RIDLEY III, 62, of Memphis, passed away December 31,
2008 at his residence. After graduating from Whitehaven
High School, he attended UT Knoxville and then served in
the US Army in Vietnam. Mr. Ridley, then spent nearly 35
years working at Orgill, Inc., in Memphis. He was
preceded in death by his parents, James C. Ridley, Jr.
and Virginia Ridley. He is survived by daughter, Lucy M.
Ridley of Memphis; son, James C. Ridley IV (Brenda) of
Greeneville, TN; sister, Lucy B. Ridley of Memphis;
brothers, Skeeter Ridley of Memphis and John C. Ridley
of Knoxville, TN and one granddaughter, Allison M.
Ridley. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4 from 2-4
p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. A graveside
service will follow at 4 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery.
