This is so sad.  Ray and I were good friends in elementary school.  Ray helped me through a very difficult 6th grade romance as he did with everything else, it was with a great deal of humor. Thanks for sharing this.
David Kesler

I am so saddened by this.  Mary and I  have known Ray since early grade school and agree that he was a really super guy.
I know that he will be greatly missed,
Martha Forney Mulrooney

I too have known Ray since early grammar school and he also went to church with me at Christ Episcopal for years.  You are right Martha, he was a fine and super guy.

Bill,

I am very sad to hear this news. Ray was maybe the first person I met in my  new school in 1960. I was a transfer in from Graceland! We enjoyed a great friendship and I will always remember that smile! My sincere sympathy,
Ron Samuels

So sorry to hear of this sad news.  Ray was such a sweet guy.  I have fond memories of him.  I will be praying for his family.
Jeanette Owen Pressgrove

What a loss!  I have not seen Ray Vunk (nor any of you whom I knew Grades 1-10 at Whitehaven) in decades.  I do remember him so very well as one of the absolute nicest guys around, always kind to everyone.  I really find it hard to believe he's gone.  I will keep his family in my prayers.
Jeannine (Wharey) Edwards

I too, am sadden to hear this news. Ray was a gentleman and a nice person. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Bob Vaughn

So sorry to hear of Ray's passing. My prayers are with Graciella and the family. May God give her peace and strength at this time. Donna Butler Conklin
