John L. Hardy Jr., 94, of Whitehaven, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Olive Branch, MS. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday February 7, at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, with a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Hardy was retired from Delta Air Lines. He was active in his church, Boy Scouts, C.C.C., and a member of a fishing club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred T. Hardy. He leaves his daughter, Jan Harbin (Clyde) of Southaven, MS; sons, Lewis (Donna) of Hernando, MS, Dennis of Whitehaven, TN, and Tim (Gwen) of Marlin, TN; 5 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
